Traveling with the Ghost Adventurers

Traveling with the Ghost Adventurers

It's always fun when you can combine multiple hobbies and loves into one package. That's exactly what I get to do at least once a week if not more when I turn on direct.tv to The Travel Channel and watch Ghost Adventures.

Okay, so Ghost Adventures is not a traditional travel show, but it is a show that takes us to unique and intriguing places all over the United States. This works for me because traveling is one of the most cherished things I enjoy doing and in addition, I'm curious about ghosts and hauntings, which is the focus of the Ghost Adventures television show.

Sometimes I've actually enjoyed the history and culture of a place the series goes to more than the investigation into whatever strange happenings have been taking place. After all, the show has visited mansions, plantations, penitentiaries, castles, missions, old theaters, mines, hospitals, and more.

The history is rich because they always tell us about the locale. I love it, seeing these old haunts across the land.

Ghost Adventures has only been on since 2008, and I will admit that it is not classic television. Quite honestly, I am not even sure I buy into these specific paranormal investigators, but because of the program, I've been exposed to some very interesting places, which is why I definitely do enjoy it.
